The Shipper is responsible for picking, packing, labeling and the palletization of finished product for transfer to OEM customers, affiliates, and the appropriate distribution center.  Adherence to Henkel’s Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards and practices is maintained as a top priority.  The Shipper is expected to perform the required duties of this position in full compliance with departmental standard operating procedures.

What we offer

  • Prints orders at designated times and sorts according to specific requirements (mode, destination, etc)
  • Ensures orders are picked in priority sequence through the use of various open order reports and communications with customer service and/or planning.
  • Reviews/troubleshoots “no stock” orders.  Coordinates with customer service on delays due to carrier pickups, missing products, routing instructions, etc. and determines resultant actions.
  • Ensures that all customer requirements printing on transfer orders are adhered to.
  • Ensure that orders requiring QC, MSDS or other special documentation are processed in a timely way.
  • Schedules all carrier pickups and systematically confirms all required, available orders each day.

Who we are looking for

  • Duties involving bending, kneeling, reaching/twisting with walking/standing during the entire shift
  • Must be able to lift between 65 pounds from waist height continuously throughout the day. 
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
  • Will work in the presence of environmental factors such as noise, vibrations, odors, and chemicals.
  • 2 years + of shipping experience.
  • Must successfully complete Henkel certification training course in DOT, IATA, IMO/IMDG and PIT
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency.
  • Hazardous Materials shipping for air/ocean.
